C-IDEA is an international network which aims to bring together Art and Design practitioners and educators to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, share research and celebrate practice.
Membership Definitions
Institutional Membership
To qualify for Institutional membership, Institutions must satisfy the following:
- Be a university, or college in art.
Individual /Personal Membership
Individual ‘creative practitioners’ and faculty, staff, and students, current students or practicing professionals involved in art and design practice(s).
To qualify for Individual membership, Personal must satisfy the following:
- Full-time educators in art and design and related fields.
- Design industry professionals with over 1 month of teaching experience.
- For full-time students in university/Institution, undergraduate or graduate schools.
Organizational Membership
Organizations involved in ‘creative practice’ which utilize art and design practice(s) to conduct professional business in any industry or cultural sector.
To qualify for Organizational membership, company, association and agency must satisfy the following :
- Be an association, gallery and cooperator who make greater contributions to C-IDEA
Membership Fees
University/Institution
Be a university, college, or academy with degree-granting programs in art and/or design.
Educator
Full-time educators in art and design and related fields.
Professional
Design industry professionals with over 1 month of teaching experience.
Student
For full-time students in university/Institution, undergraduate or graduate schools.

Member Application Process

Applicants need to submit an application form. Send an email to apply or enter the system to submit an application.

New Applicants are assessed by C-IDEA Borad of Members and Membership Committee.

The application result will be announced on May or October per year during C-IDEA conference.

Applicants dues will be charged upon successful endorsement of an applicant
